“The suite was beautiful, very clean and the decor was stunning. The owners were very helpful with parking information as our vehicle wouldn’t fit in the car parking space provided (travelling in campervan). Suite was less than 1 mins walk from the centre. ”

“We have stayed here a few times in the past but not for about three years now. Sadly, we were very disappointed . The service used to be exceptional. I asked for a quiet room as we are very light sleepers - we were kept aware by the kitchen fan at the back of our room and the noise from the reception desk. We had lunch there and the prawn skewers were bland and tasteless. The breakfast buffet selection was poor, however the hot meals were very good. The service was dire, staff were stood around...

“Impressed by the overall service offered by the Sun. We had good rest in the room and enjoyed excellent atmosphere and food at the pub, both at dinner and breakfast. The staff offered us the opportunity to park next to the hotel free of charge in a spot that was temporary available for the night. Would recommend to visit when in Lancaster ”

“Really nice caravan on a lovely site with pool. We really enjoyed our stay, the caravan is very well stocked with everything you need for a weekend away, very thoughtfully done. Very clean and communication excellent. Would definitely recommend. ”

“The Tool Inn is a very cosy place, it has a pub downstairs, and the breakfast is top! I strongly recommend it. The only problem is that the walls are not very thick so it is easy to hear noise from other rooms.”

There were limitations on what we could have both on the food and drink side due to delivery issues. My and I were are aware that there was music being played when we went to bed, but I did not really interfere with us getting to sleep. Eat plugs were provided which my wife used.
