Hotel vicino a Teatro Tívoli - Wimborne

“There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark.”

“Room was very clean and comfortable bed - staff were upbeat, really friendly and helpful. Parking was great and bar very pleasant atmosphere - enjoyed a good laugh playing Bingo. Good breakfast and evening meal.”

“Absolutely awful. Dont care how desperate you are, DONT BOOK HERE! Seaguls nesting outside your security locked window (you can open the window two inches). The smell coming from the outside of the room from bird mess was over powering. If your on the second floor the heat in the room unbearable. The 2 inch dust on the curtains and the black dots throughout the bedding, makes you sleep with your clothes on. Ive requested a refund, but it takes 10days for someone to get back to you. “Great reception and sorted parking. Room was very smelly like old sweat. Sheets were clean and tidy but the carpet need changing it in a manky state. Bathroom clean and tidy but vinyl needs changing as it doesn't fit properly. Good enough for me to lay my head but I was out of there early as I was not going to be hanging around in that room.”

“It's for a basic stay, the place is dated, but beds are really comfortable and clean. Bathroom is spotless, also they provide soap and shampoo in little sachets. Staff was super responsive! Really on top of things. We needed to switch one fan and someone came to our room in 2 mins. The bonus for us was the we needed to leave early and the manager arranged for us to have packed omelettes! We are very grateful for it.”

“A lovely old grade 2 listed house. Excellent location for Poole Quay and harbour. Parking in visitor’s public car park just across the road. Overnight parking is very reasonable. David was a fabulous host with plenty of stories to tell and the house is full of interesting “stuff” that he has collected. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Our room on the second floor was very small and hot, but the others are bigger. Best to ask David before you book. Would definitely stay again.”
