“The owner/host and housekeeping staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. They can arrange tuk tuk for the guests and home style food was so delicous. Due to its location, guests will need to have insects repellent spray applied at all time. Overall very nice stay at villa birdlake. ”

“Abbiamo passato 6 notti in questo albergo proprio davanti alla parte migliore della spiaggia di Hikkaduwa! L'albergo era molto pulito e le camere spaziose! anche la colazione era ben fornita e il ristorante con affaccio sulla piscina molto buono e comodo, lo consiglio assolutamente!”

“We had a great 2 night stay at the Villa which is right on the beach. The Villa is well designed with a lot of attention to detail. The pool and outdoor areas were excellent.
The best part however is the service. Anthony and Mahesh were very attentive but very discreet. Callum the Villa chef was exceptional, we had 14 days in Sri Lanka and without question the food at Taru Villas was the best we had our entire holiday.

This is typical old Hotel. The building is old and the technology (water, electricity ) is old, but all works. Situation in the city is excellent; near centrum, on the beach. Good bed to sleep and the sound of waves is soothing. Good beakfast and the limits from food allergy were well taken into account. And also very early mornig breakfast when needed was possible. We liked. ”
