“Comfortable stay, we were welcomed by Wasantha who checked us in, with a delicious watermelon juice made by Charana. The room was spacious and clean. Beautiful pool and garden area - towels were supplied. The breakfast cooked by Anuradha was delicious - fruit, toast, eggs, tea and coffee. Great value for a very luxurious stay! We would definitely stay here again!”

“This was our second stay on our trip in Sri Lanka as we enjoyed the hotel so much the first time. Lovely comfortable rooms. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. We dined in both restaurants and the food was excellent in each one. The rooftop bar has a really nice vibe to enjoy the stunning sunsets/cocktails. Would totally recommend if in this area. ”

“First time in Sri Lanka. Simply one of the best hotels we have stayed in anywhere. Friendly, courteous staff who couldn't do enough for us, a superb room with a balcony offering a beautiful beach view. We stayed five nights and didn't bother to eat anywhere else - the food was excellent. We wanted to take the chef home with us. We took long walks along the beaches and spent a lot of time in the wonderful hotel grounds and by the very stylish infinity pool. We want to visit Sri Lanka again soon...

“It was the most unpleasant stay in Sri Lanka and in general in several years traveling in Asia. The receptionist was totally unfriendly, just interested in getting us out out the hotel....and we understood why: some rooms were under renovation, so there was noise from early in the morning through the day. “I loved this hotel so much. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and historic. The pool was amazing and the grounds were great. Above all of it was that the staff was so incredible. They were helpful and kind. I was traveling alone and the restaurant manager was completely helpful to me, giving me tips and also prepared a special seafood meal for me that was one of the best i have ever had.
