“This was actually our second stay at Lum as when our flights were delayed we wanted a little haven to relax and enjoy our extra time in the South. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and everything about the complex made it feel like a lovely place to stay. “Staff was wonderful, highly recommend. Rooms were cleaned daily, the rooms were functional, the property it self is a bit old, but still very beautiful. Private secluded beaches, you just cant beat the views and how private it is. I initially only had the reservation for 3 days, but extended it to a week. Highly recommend! ”

“Beautiful property on great stretch of Kabalana beach. It was really nice walking along the long stretch of beach and having a dip in the warm and clear water. The king size bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable. The pool area was relaxing with comfortable sun beds with a great view of the beach and also direct access. We enjoyed eating lunch at the pool area with some of the best king prawns we had, deep fried in panko breadcrumbs. Everything we had for lunch and breakfast was good...

“Nice place”

“Nice clean rooms and attentive staff, pool was heated and the location was walkable into certain surf spots; sticks, and marshmallow. Only issues is that the bathroom was slightly broken, sink was loose and shower door dragged. The staff we not familiar with Expedia payments, but this is common for the island as most hotels don’t like the idea of not being paid cash. This was sorted eventually but remember to show your payment receipt on check in. ”

“Check in can be faster, takes way too long for checkin”

“Firstly the reservation hadn't been received so I had to pay for the room again and rely on a refund from Hotels.com. Nice room but very noisy with train line adjacent to the building. Location wasn't great with a 20 min walk into Ahangama and no nearby restaurant or food shops. I left one night early but no refund for the unused night from the hotel. Overall not a good experience.”
