“This was the most excellent place i have ever been to! The cabin was pristine and absolutely perfect for a relaxing weekend. It was beautiful. The snowy outside and the warm cozy inside made it perfect for pajamas and books. There were games to play, a woodstove to watch and absolute blissful quiet. The hottub was wonderful and it relaxed the bones on day two. The kitchen is perfect and we made our little meals without chaos.. the bed was firm but oh so comfortable! Even the pillows...

“The room was spotless and in good nick. While it was smallish in the style of the period, everything we needed was there and very satisfying. The screen in the room was quite large and had an excellent picture. And do not miss the breakfast! Absolutely EXCELLENT fare, served by a lovely group of staff members. Same goes for housekeeping. Highly recommend this lovely old rose of a hotel!”

“Very clean house, well decorated and comfortable, loved the full kitchen, the deep soaking tub, and the relaxing living room. It looks fancier than you expect but is very comfortable. Also an easy 10-minute walk to downtown.”

“We stayed here for an overnight on a winter trip from Washington to California. We liked it so well we stayed again on the way home. Our room was large and well maintained. It’s just a 5-8 minute walk into town where there are many fine restaurants. Their off season breakfast service was a bit weak, but I appreciate they use real porcelain plates and silverware (not paper and plastic). We’d stay again on our next trip through.”

“This is a nicely restored vintage motel. The rooms are styled midcentury but with modern appliances and fixtures. They are also clean. I recommend it for anyone looking for a unique travel experience other than the big chain hotels and motels. The location is a little under 1 mile from the Oregon Shakespearian Festival so walkable for some.”

“Nicest shower in a budget friendly motel I’ve ever experienced! I had a great stay: texts from motel staff before and after check in, easy check in, friendly staff, clean room, nice bed with actual comforter, furniture and room didn’t feel sterile. Don’t let the exterior fool you, the rooms are nice. Highly recommend!”
