Fantastic price. Excellent location in the heart of Thamel. Would give it an A++ but all of the room doors face a solo spiral staircase, so all front desk business & employee mobile phone streaming, plus street noise is unavoidable even with room doors closed as they are not sound-proofed. “Really nice hotel, fantastic staff. Very clean. Excellent breakfast with a good range of options. Good location and generally quiet at night. The rooms are quite light at night - there’s an odd “night light” that you can’t turn off (we covered it in pillows, it’s just by the door at ground level). You also aren’t allowed to bring in any food or drink from outside at all (like nothing) or the “hotel will fine you” which seemed a bit extreme. They do provide 2 bottles of water a day though which...

“Actually a nice hotel, a bit run down and needs some upgrade works, but it is in superb location and probably a good choice for those who want to explore Kathmandu’s nightlife. They even have ear-plugs in the room - which tells you everything. However, the staff has a bit of a strange attitude. The key card reader in the room didn’t work probably. Tried it x times together with their staff, but the manager said we just did it wrong, instead of calling a technician he wanted to proof us wrong....
