“Beautiful house, full of history. Great feeling knowing that one of our greatest Presidents once roamed the same hallways. The house is extremely well maintained. Bedroom very comfortable. Paul and Tracey go out of their way to truly make you feel at home. They are both welcoming and flexible. Breakfast to suit all tastes; fresh and delicious. Other guests were charming and a pleasure with whom to have shared the table. Enjoyed walking around town, and sitting in the garden under the trees...

“We booked the king room with a harbor view. The room, on the top floor, had a beam ceiling with brick walls, which we appreciated as we enjoy historical inns. The picture window was a plus. The complimentary continental breakfast was plentiful and changed each morning. Staff members were attentive.”

“It’s just perfect for me. It’s close to my family when I visit from New York and it’s a good place to call it the night. The staff is friendly, the rooms are great, and the breakfast is excellent. Even better, our dog Tonio is welcome. ”

“Non avevamo grandi aspettative viste alcune recensioni terribili. Tutto sommato era comunque accettabile, anche se non pulitissimo (una delle pareti della camera era molto sporca e anche lenzuola e asciugamani avevano delle macchie). Però i mobili nella camera erano nuovi.
Lo scarico del Wc funzionava molto male.
Zona colazione pulita e carina ma la scelta del cibo è un po' scarsa (mancano latte caldo, cioccolata in tazza, caffè decaffeinato, .... e perfino l'acqua).”

The room was clean, the environment felt safe, and everything worked just as expected. I appreciated how quiet it was at night and how easy it was to get settled in. Definitely a solid choice for a comfortable and convenient stay!

"Bella struttura in una location unica.
Nonostante la prenotazione sia stata effettuata con 6 mesi di anticipo la camera che ci è stata assegnata era di livello inferiore rispetto a quella acquistata!"

"Struttura trascurata e scadente. Camera con vista su muro, separata da altre camere da una porta di legno quindi rumorosa e poco riservata. Rumore di sciacquino tutta la notte. “Spiaggia” privata si rivela essere nel porto di attracco di yacht e piccole navi da crociera: non fruibile! Poche strutture ricettive e di ristorazione nei dintorni quindi piuttosto scomodo "
"La mia permanenza in questo hotel non è stata soddisfacente. Il personale della reception non era gentile ne’ disponibile. Le chiavi elettroniche non funzionavano bene e abbiamo dovute sostituirle più volte. La struttura non è bella e non è tenuta bene. Le stanze sono discrete, abbastanza grandi con spazio per valigie ed effetti personali, c’è una vista carina sul porto. La posizione è oggettivamente molto centrale e strategica per visitare Newport. Tuttavia la pulizia è molto approssimativa, il bagno direi sporco. Abbiamo soggiornato due notti e la stanza non è stata mai rigovernata e pulita. Ci siamo dovuti arrangiare con pochi asciugamani…. Da ultimo, le stanze non sono insonorizzate e si sentono rumori incredibili a tutte le ore. Mi spiace ma non tornerei in questo albergo "
