A lot of humidity in the room and it seemed damp. Went down once to ask a question to the person working the front desk - nowhere to be found. Also asked later about pizza places - he mentioned Domino's(?) but we found a Pies & Pints a few blocks away (which was really good!) Picked this place because it was close to 77 and it had...

“Sarah checked us in and was extremely helpful. We had arrived early and our rooms were ready for check in. She assisted with recommendations for hiking and restaurants in the area. We stayed for two days and had a lovely time. The staff was nice and courteous. Very nice rooms with updated amenities. Definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again if I'm back in the area”

“We have been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for 8 years. The staff are always welcoming, kind and helpful. My complaint is that new ownership (we were told this by staff) has taken over and the cost of the rooms went up significantly. The cost has outpaced the return and sadly — we will find another place to stay in the future. This is not a reflection on the staff — they are and have always been great.”

“The staff was very kind and had smiles for my son. It was my first time stopping in West Virginia, and I was pleasantly surprised. I choose it for the pool, but the pool is in the middle of the parking lot, so I don’t recommend it. but the staff were great and it’s very clean.”

“We stayed because we needed enough room for 5, that was good. The building is old and alittle run down. First the door wouldn't open, we finally got it to open. We closed the door and needed something else from the car and the door wouldn't open. After several tries we finally got it open. The attendant had to come and take part of the threshold off the bottom of the door,so we could get in and out. I wouldn't stay there again.”

“The deposit double $50 to $100.00 their deposit refund policy is non—ist or hard to find my wife started her menstrual cycle while we were at the property and had an accident with one of the Towels which happened to be one of the towels that we had brought from home and left it in the floor with the other towels of the bathroom floor they kept our deposit Wife cleaned the room when we got there and cleaned the room when we left there was no damage. “The breakfast was minimal, when things needed replenished , the one staff on site acted put out and only added items when asked. Two separate hotels ours was the 3rd floor, the smell of pot was overwhelming, and there was a loud machine running in the building at 2 am which made it near impossible to sleep. I pray our next hotel is as advertised.”
