“Our room was comfortable. We had a suite and there as no TV in the bedroom which would have been more comfy. The bed was comfortable and great to sleep in. The bathroom was good except the shower had a pull around screen instead of a fixed one and we found that once showering the water went everywhere.”

“Overall acceptable “motel” but probably not worth the value , it’s close to the lake but certainly not to the front. The “front” of the rooms offer fantastic views and sounds from a trafficking road instead. Rooms are pretty old fashioned and the bed was garnished with a brownie fake ( and dusty) fur. Welcoming was excellent though but certainly not sufficient to compensate.”

“The king suite was spacious, comfortable, and dark/quiet at night. Super clean. Fridge and water kettle with extra counter and sink made basic food prep easy. Good Wifi and smart TV. Easy to walk to town and Milford Sound day cruise departures. Great tourist advice. Parking fine. Do understand that our spacious room is not the same for all. A peek into another showed a much more compact arrangement. Breakfast was a cereal, white toast/jam, and yogurt operation, but we supplemented in the...

“Good location! Close to town Centre. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. One of our blinds does not work with remote, but we were told that at check in. Beautiful view out the window.”

“Don’t be put off by the backpacker property, the Lakeview rooms are terrific, very big with a great view and come with a mini fridge and kettle. The amenities are limited, just hand and body wash, and towels are limited, and no servicing, but for the price, the location is excellent, and the Lakeview rooms are totally separate from the backpacker dorms. ”

“Beautiful property! Great location 5 minute walk to town centre, restaurants and shopping. Laura & Derek were very welcoming and serve an EXCELLENT cooked breakfast! There recommendations were perfect for us. Clean well appointed room. Hot tub was a nice touch and the Garden very nice. Highly recommended.”
