The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again”

“We had a very good stay in a comfortable room and bed. We really liked the afternoon tea and drinks in the library upstairs as it brought guests together and made for a very pleasant evening. We were in the Bishops Retreat and thoroughly enjoyed the dressing up. A fun stay. Thank you ”

“Beautiful property! Great location 5 minute walk to town centre, restaurants and shopping. Laura & Derek were very welcoming and serve an EXCELLENT cooked breakfast! There recommendations were perfect for us. Clean well appointed room. Hot tub was a nice touch and the Garden very nice. Highly recommended.”

“Cabins have a great view, are very quiet and away from the road. The park is very tidy and organized, bathrooms are large, clean and modern. Very affordable, payment is cash only. For the Americans (us) who aren’t used to NZ camping, even though it’s a “deluxe double room“ there’s no water or sink or towels. Nor coffee or tea. Nice big supermarket in town (ask me how I know). ”

“Spacious. Beautiful view. Ample parking. Great motel considering it’s in a campground. A little farther from Town Center but easy drive and makes it more peaceful.”

“La camera in cui abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte era un piccolo monolocale, nella cucina c'era tutto l'occorrente per prepararsi da mangiare. Camera e bagno puliti, parcheggio davanti alla camera, raggiungibile a piedi perchè centrale a Te Anau. Gli unici nei della camera: il letto un po' corto e il bagno un po' piccolo. State molto attenti alla connessione wifi: se non ci si ricorda di fare il logout quando ci si scollega, il wifi risulta comunque attivo e si esaurisce senza effettivo...

“Overall acceptable “motel” but probably not worth the value , it’s close to the lake but certainly not to the front. The “front” of the rooms offer fantastic views and sounds from a trafficking road instead. Rooms are pretty old fashioned and the bed was garnished with a brownie fake ( and dusty) fur. Welcoming was excellent though but certainly not sufficient to compensate.”
