“Really lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Staff were lovely. Room was great. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. ”

“We were only here one night, but I loved staying in this flat! It was a real insight into how people live their everyday lives in a city the size of Oxford. Manu was excellent about communicating with us and made sure we would have no trouble finding the flat or getting into it. I wish we could have stayed here longer, and I would definitely reach out to him again if I ever travel back this way!”

“Two night midweek stay for work. Location is excellent as right in the centre of Wantage, with access to local shops and restaurants. No hotel car parking, but overnight parking available in local council car park (£3/night). Room was cosy and had all facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Relatively quiet during the night, but Wantage wakes around 5am, so expect to as well. Ate in the restaurant for the first night - good quality food, but ventured out the second night for greater menu...

“Gorgeous room and property, perfect for a midsummer stay. Room had a private patio which was lovely. First stayed here last summer and I think some areas could do with a freshen-up since then. Ate in the restaurant which was quite disappointing; a distinctly average steak and overdone chips. ”
