Hotel vicino a The Strong National Museum of Play - Rochester

“Hot tub”

“Hot water broken. Closet doors didn’t open and close. Changed rooms. Also has similar problem. Jacuzzi tub wouldn’t fill properly. No drain plugs. Hallway carpets dirty. Desk table in room wobbly , severely. Sofa bed dirty, no sheets , and cushions didn’t fit right ….we had already changed rooms. This was the new room. Parking a disaster, garage not connected internally. Fifty percent of staff excellent , first percent either ride or disinterested in customer service. NEVER staying there...

“Positives: Nice staff. All the food I had there was delicious. Not-so-positives: Snack machines did not work for the 2 days I was there. The building is obviously old. The rooms have those dingy corners that need cleaning. The bathroom doors needed to be wiped down. Unusual brownish-red streaks on the white doors were obvious. A simple wipe over may have helped. The rooms had great air conditioning, but the commom areas and the gym were ridiculously hot. It's as if they shut off the AC...

“My family and I had a huge, clean, one bedroom room that was perfect, except that the bathroom was in the room, so our kids had to walk through our room to use it. Breakfast was better than most other hotels we’ve been to, but the layout of the breakfast area is terrible, a very crowded and small area. The location is ok, the river is pretty cool, and there is halal food across the street that was very good. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful.”

“To be honest with all of you I don’t know why this area is expensive during the weekend but for over $200 a night with taxes and fees I think this place is expensive. Besides this, the room door never fully locked if you left your room, towels smelled clean but had stains on them and the mini fridge well was too small and did not work. More like a motel than a hotel or inn.”

“All the staffs are very good,helpfull very polite. Hotel is very dirty and smells. Room is clean, bed was very bad. This is first and last visit to this property.”

The staff were friendly, especially the restaurant staff at breakfast, who were welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was good, and the location was convenient. We would definitely stay here again!”

“This hotel need a big make over”

“The room was clean. The hallway smelled of stale cigarettes, weed and drugs. I did not know that as of Monday the property would be closed due to multiple code violations and other issues. This morning when trying to check out there was no one at the front desk and I had to reach in and put the key card in a container. Glad it was only one night.there was no shampoo only small bars of hand soap. Not worth the price.”
