We were given a room and had to run the shower for 10mins, for it to get warm. THEN we tried to settle in bed but people were being loud/swearing etc outside the room and a child was running up and down outside our door so we had to request a new room. “It is not the usual kind of hotel I would visit (last minute). The hotel was old, it was under renovation. The room was great. Clean and comfortable, there was nowhere to fill the jug with water in the room. The receptionist gave me ROTTEN Milk! But she was very friendly and very helpful.”

“Overall the room was clean, staff that worked there were kind to talk too, but we had no hot water for two days stay which was not ideal as we had to take an overseas flight the next day and the porter we had to ask him to help with luggage did not even offer knowing that we were two old ladies. Shocking that this happens in hospitality industry.”

“Unusual communication from the start. Booked through expedia, host was listed as Mei but actually a third party company made contact AFTER the free cancellation period asking for a large deposit. This was highly Unusual but I did my due diligence and they were a real company. On checkout it was confirmed I'd receive my deposit but it has taken well over a month to finally receive the funds. I received 6 emails during our stay with reminders of house rules, checkout procedures and even asking for...

“I got a great welcome from the Lady at Reception and check in was easy. The room had everything I needed and nothing I didn't. It was very clean and the room service every day was welcome. I really appreciate the cleaning staff restocking coffee and milk when needed and making the bed. The bed was very comfortable. Good size bathroom and plenty of hot water.
