“Lovely decor in the hotel. Our suite was gorgeous. We ate in the restaurant and it was lovely, great menu. The pub is very cosy, very relaxed feel to it.”

“Extensive mould in the bedroom. Very dated decor in room and the taps were broken. Lots of cobwebs. Wedding on and the music played till 00.30 very loud, so couldn't sleep at all. A memorable stay for the wrong reasons”

“Room was spotless and appeared to have been recently decorated. Unfortunately there were cracks in the sink and the hotel generally looks a little tired. The hotel staff were amazing … all so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Particularly Aziz at breakfast and the wonderful bartender Mal. He couldn’t do enough for us, moving furniture around and asking us if we wanted any particular music to be played. He really went above and beyond to make my 89 year old mum’s evening. ”

“The pub was fantastic all the staff and locals made us feel very welcome even bringing a sausage and a bit of steak out for our dog. The food was amazing all top quality and the room was incredible, double walk in shower and stand alone bath. Just what was needed after a fab day walking Pendle top!! We will defo be back”

“Camera silenziosissima pur essendo in zona tangenziale , letto comodo. Pulizia discutibile , una sera si sono dimenticati di rifare il letto e di passare il pavimento (capelli ovunque). Colazione nella media, abbastanza varia, ma i tavoli venivano ripuliti di rado e dopo l’ora di punta non si trovava un posto pulito dove sedersi.”

“I love this hotel and I'm sad not to be able to give it 5 stars but it's sadly suffering from neglect. I know times are hard for hospitality but it could be so much nicer with a few changes. For instance why have a cupboard obviously meant for a fridge but not have a fridge? Why have fake grass on the balcony which gets full of water and very unpleasant to walk on? Why not have a nice set of furniture on the balcony? we had one chair no table. Our kettle didn't work, the plughole in the...
