“Outstanding property and environment, but unfortunately understaffed with poor communication. Could have been the best stay of our trip but spoiled by amazing lack of information. It felt like a cynical exercise in capitalism. ”

“Comfortable studio. Clean sheets and towels. Well equipped kitchen. Hosts not helpful with check in process for late arrival. Studio had an unusual, not pleasant smell when I arrived. Otherwise safe and friendly environment and right on Snug Beach.”

“We loved our short stay at the Rivulet and our room was spacious, well appointed and with a luxurious extra wide bed. We were aware of a shower running in another room but overall we had a very comfortable stay. The grounds and the amenities and on-site parking were also much appreciated. Very well located on Sandy Bay Road with a bus stop almost at the door. Robert and Kathy both helped us have an enjoyable break in Hobart. Definitely recommend, we will certainly be back. “Hotel and casino is perfect, it’s small but has plenty to do. Not like the major hitters, the rooms are spacious and clean. Couldn’t recommend for a night or multiple. We will be back.”

“It’s an ok location and like many in Hobart there is no hotel car parking. The reception area is mostly unattended (call a mobile to check in). The grubby reception area was piled with laundry bags so not a good first impression. Room was ok for my purposes but luckily no really noisy people in adjoining rooms bcoz can hear everything. ”

“A stunning property, full of stylish period features. We felt like we were the only guests staying and considered our stunning room with a view to be our 'home'. The onsite butler carried out his work so quietly we hardly knew he was there, but was always available to give friendly travel advice or assistance. Fantastic location in a charming historic village, complete with delicious eateries a short walk away. We will be back!!”
