“This motel continues to be our favourite in Gisborne. We love the friendly, welcoming hosts, the beautiful location next to the river and harbour, the proximity to the best cafes and restaurants in Gisborne, the close proximity to the cities main shopping and the great walks along the river and to the sea and beyond. Our 1 bedroom room was spotless and well equipped with everything we needed for our four night stay. We highly recommend this motel to fellow travellers and look forward to staying...

“Ho soggiornato per 3 notti nel mese di febbraio. L'hotel, a circa 2 kilometri dal mare, è talmente grande, esteso in orizzontale che risulta dispersivo ed ogni volta trovato estrema difficoltà a ritrovare la mia stanza. Dall'ascensore alla mia stanza dovevo camminare per circa 300 metri! Ma questo è il solo punto negativo che ho trovato. Tutto il resto è OK, bellissima stanza, spaziosissima, pulita, terrazzo sulla piscina, personale molto gentile e disponibile. ”

“Loved our night at the Traveller's Inn, on arrival our payment was processed quickly and we were shown to our rooms and even offered help with our bags! The rooms were very nice, clean comfortable beds, bathroom clean and hygienic tape over toilet to show its clean! All kitchen necessities, kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave and a free snall bottle of milk for tea and coffee, a nice touch! One room we had a whitetail which was removed by Stephen and he left us with bug dpray just in case,...

“From arrival to departure we were very impressed with our treatment and the accommodation pod we had booked. There are only cafe facilities at the weekend therefore the need to travel for food and drink was unavoidable but it is only a short drive into Gisborne. The beaches close by are a surfers paradise so would certainly suit the adventurous person, though not myself. An all round excellent stay. ”
