A stunning property in a fabulous location, this stylish, two-bedroom apartment is the perfect setting for a family or friends looking for a seaside bolthole. Relax on the private balcony, enjoying the 180-degree panoramic vista over the harbour and Torbay, and breathe the fresh sea air, before strolling along the promenade as the sun sets over the bay. With accommodation all on one level, this apartment is very well-equipped and offers breathtaking harbour views from many of the rooms. It has been beautifully furnished in a nautical style, creating a light and bright interior. The kitchen has everything you will need to cater to your group, while the living and dining room is a comfortable place in which to relax after a busy day by the coast, with a corner sofa, an armchair, and a dining table and chairs. Soak up the stunning views in this room, maximised by the wide floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors onto the balcony. The master king-size bedroom also has access to the balcony and enjoys the fabulous views, as well as benefiting from an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds and use of the family bathroom. The owner has provided a telescope and binoculars so you can spot dolphins in the bay, and guests will also have access to the shared gardens leading onto the Royal Terrace Gardens and the promenade. Just below the apartment is Torquay’s Victorian Rock Walk with its many stylish cafes and restaurants – perfect for a stroll in the evening followed by dinner. The beach at Torre Abbey Sands is less than 0.5 miles away and is a great spot to while away a couple of hours. If you can tear yourself away from the apartment and its views, it’s worth heading across the River Dart via car ferry and wandering around the narrow streets of Dartmouth (11 miles), packed with stylish shops, delis, cafes and galleries.

Steep path, cozy appartment, fantastic view

The apartment is cozy, comfortable and well equipped. Bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are okay. The location of the house is spectacular, on first sight, but comes with a few disadvantages. If you found a parking space nearby, you can really relax and enjoy your stay. If not, you are in quite a trouble, especially when you have to carry your baggage. The walk to the city center is not very far, but the way back on the hill to the appartment is extremly steap with many stairs. For elder people that's a real challenge. But you have a fantastic view on the bay. Torquay is a nice town, but with a bit of paint damage, generally speaking. We enjoyed our stay anyway.
