“Wow, what an absolutely fabulous place! It’s exactly what we hoped for - peace and tranquility. The staff are superb and cannot do enough for you. The most instagram worthy place I have ever been to! Of note for those planning a trip, we stayed in the ‘low season’ (I.e. July/August). The hotel was only 20-30% full which made the stay feel even more intimate. We guess people are put off by the temperatures in Marrakesh, however it’s at least 5-10 degrees cooler in the mountains. “The Ecolodge was amazing set in the picturesque low Atlas mountains. From the moment we arrive the team working there could not have made us feel more welcome and looked after. The swimming pool was a welcome relief as we arrived in a heat wave. Unfortunately due to the heat, we could not do our planned trek, but the pool and service from the team made up for it. Any concerns were dealt with high professionalism and huge generosity by the manager - Abdou. All the staff were amazing ( thank you to Ibrahim for cooking the most delicious tagine and soup ) and the Riad was best located as starting point for trekking. “Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und trotz unserer sehr späten Ankunft wurde nur für uns noch ein großes Abendessen zubereitet. Der Inhaber Mohammed spricht sehr gut französisch und kümmerte sich um jedes unserer Anliegen. Der Blick von den diversen Terassen ist sehr schön und die Zimmer sind ansprechend eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist nicht kontinental und bestand aus einheimischem Brot, Oliven, Marmelade, Erdnusscreme, Butter und Öl. Dazu gab es Tee, frisch gepressten Saft und auf Wunsch...

“Situated in the foothills of The High Atlas Mountains, with stunning views towards the snow capped Mountains beyond the wonderful manicured lawns and gardens. The hotel is built of local red sandstone and is beautifully laid out. Pool too cold in Jan but looks fabulous. Food on our visit was relatively limited choice; we stayed 1 nightwith a 40 minute drive from Marrakech (local hotel transfer 270 DAM each way) Incredibly beautiful setting - wonderful rest in the warm January sunshine. ”
