“The cottages are great! Have everything you need to escape the city. We aren't big on fishing, but if you are, this place would be amazing for you. Fishing boats + an area for cleaning fish is available. The pool is great! The water is a little chilly, but a great reprieve on a hot day. The only negative is if you have a dog with you, there arent a ton of places to walk them that aren't just around other people's properties or a short drive away. “Property was exactly as listed, beautiful spot with well appointed amenities and easy access. We brought our boat up and were able to dock it no problem, excellent neighbors and the hosts were absolutely amazing.”

“Fantastic location and house. So well equipped for cooking and relaxing. Lots of space for the 11 of us to be together, that dining table is amazing, but lots of different smaller spaces for us to hang out in smaller groups. Super clean, comfy beds, fun kayaks and fabulous Sauna. Would highly recommend for family gathering.”

“Very nice cottage”

“Host was very responsive and made sure there was some nice little touches to make our stay enjoyable (for example, leaving a s’mores kit for us to use). Stayed for a long weekend which was ample time to enjoy the serene surroundings.”

“This beautiful well kept, organized and clean cottage was a nice break away from the city! The view to the lake was calming. Loved the flowers, selection of tree's and the spacious piece of land for our dogs to run around safely. Loved the option of propane and charcoal BBQ. But our most favorite spot was the outside porch, the seating arrangements and the cushion comfort was just perfect for morning coffee and a BBQ lunch/supper. Oh and we suspect that they spray for ‘bugs as we sat nothing...

“Ioana was a super responsive host and it meant a lot to us. We felt very welcomed and taken care of. Every little detail was taken care of and made the stay very easy. It would be great to get a visitor guide to understand what else is available in the area. Otherwise, all was great and we appreciate the stay!”

“We really enjoyed our holiday at Avalon! The host met us to explain the property, and a little "Father's Day" cup with chocolates was waiting for my husband. Family visited us one day for a celebration and everyone loved the cottage. My son was all for booking it next year again. A few people have shown interest when we talked about our experience. “We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Check in was seamless. The host was responsive. The inside was very clean and cozy. Soft sheets, nice pillows.
