“I had the basic twin because that was the only option available when I booked. The room was very clean and warm- no ocean view. Had dinner in the dining room and it was lovely Had the daily special of turkey pie and pint and it was very nice along with the fish and chips. Breakfast the next morning was a choice of cereal and fruit and pastries along with a cook to order breakfast. Again lovely. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. Would stay here again if I’m back in Port Issacs”

“Abbiamo pernottato in due nei primi giorni di luglio.Una struttura interessante, con un discreto parco, un'antica pianta di Tasso e svariati splendidi pavoni che si aggirano liberi lanciando sonori richiami fin dalle prime luci dell'alba e anche se un po` si salva la parte "di facciata" è decisamente poco curato. All'interno si va da uno stantio stile old England al kitch con una punta di atmosfera da rigattiere; la nostra camera sotto tetto è molto piccola con letto troppo stretto e le molle...

“La posizione dell’hotel e la vista che si gode dalla terrazza è spettacolare, vale tutto il costo del soggiorno L’hotel a un parcheggio, peraltro gratuito, che è sicuramente utilissimo in un viaggio con la macchina in Cornovaglia. La camera è molto semplice ed il bagno è un prefabbricato, la vista però parlava da sola ed il silenzio rotto solo dal mare e dai gabbiani ti rimane dentro. In generale, c’è piaciuto molto il soggiorno.”

On our arrival we was greeted by very friendly staff and was shown to our room .our room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed .the view from our window was superb looking out to the sea .very comfortable and cosy ,the breakfast was superb with plenty to choose from. “The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill.
