Posizione incantevole davanti all'Isola Dei Cervi, conosco la struttura da anni ora che è stata ristrutturata, sono state arredate con cura le camere i ristoranti sempre all'altezza, a volte il personale poco attento ma nell'insieme è sempre un piacevole soggiorno da consigliare.

5 stelle Meritate!
Isolotto Mangenie, nespresso in camera, cibo gratuito ai bambini tutto il giorno, posizione e bellezza paesaggistica, semplicemente fantastico e molto chic! Stanza ampia, pulita e comoda con stupenda vista sulla laguna, l'offerta dei canali visibili in tv (qualora ce ne fosse bisogno) e un po' scarsa. Zona abbastanza Isolata, scarsità di servizi in zona, fuori dall'hotel. Fantastica la visita degli isolotti vicini (dell'hotel!) La ristorazione a buffet, sebbene molto buona, andrebbe maggiormente variata. Lo stanzino di cortesia per gli arrivi anticipati e le partenze ritardate andrebbe condizionato visti gli spazi molto ristretti.

Bell'albergo di lusso ma un po' datato. Ottima la posizione con transfert continuo fino all'isola di fronte attrezzata a cura della struttura. Bel campo da golf sulla vicina Isola dei cervi.

Hotel bellissimo, ben curato e in una zona favorevole anche per fare gite. Ottimo cibo, servizio silenzioso ,mai invadente ma onnipresente. Molto bella l'isola: merita una o piu giornate di tour.

Don't go there
The resort itself is max 3-4*. Old concept. Constant selling attitude of staff (room upgrade, better this or that etc.). Service attitude of staff not existing in many areas. Restaurants are ok but totally overpriced. Two episodes of our stay: During arrival, we had to wait 75 minutes in our room for our luggage (we were the only arrival at this time). There are different areas to enjoy the beach (all areas are free). We were asked by the staff to leave the beach lounger because a more important guest wanted to lie there.

Our room smelled of dampness when we arrived and the air conditioning would blow cold air even when it was turned off making our room unpleasant. The hotel provided us a cleaner room. The hotel has a stunning private island which made our week trip worthwhile yet the service and food was not up to the standard of a top hotel. Especially that we stayed at the One and Only Mauritius hotel the previous week, we could really feel a lower quality of service and food. The hotel needs a renovation and a more luxurious feel

I have travelled to over 40 countries, many several times. This must be THE best hotel I have ever stayed in. The money is 100% worth it, my only regret was not staying here longer. Loved every single second. Thank you for a memorable trip. Anyone considering this, book it!

Amazing place made better by the fabulous staff
Stayed with friends to celebrate 2 wedding anniversaries and 2 big birthdays. Relaxed, played golf and ate really well. Hotel is amazing. Feels so relaxed yet everything is run so efficiently. The staff are the best thing about the hotel. They are all wonderful, friendly and helpful. Feels like they really want you to enjoy your stay. We have visited this hotel several times and keep returning because the staff are so good. Golf course is beautiful and really well run so there is no waiting. A day on the private island with a long lunch is magical. Really good selection of restaurants. All are excellent but do book before you travel if you want to dine in the signature restaurants.

Toller Strand auf der vorgelagerten Insel
Das Resort ist sehr ansprechend aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Der Service in den Restaurants verbesserungsbedürftig: Die Frage nach einem Dekanter für den Rotwein wurde weder in englisch noch in französisch verstanden... Es dauerte ziemlich lange bis jemand wußte, was dekantieren bedeutet , in einem 5 Sterne Hotel... Absolutes Highlight ist der zum Resort gehörige Privatstrand auf der vorgelagerten kleinen Insel Ilot Mangenie. Der Strand war der schönste auf unserer Tour durch Mauritius (ok , es, war der gleiche wie nebenan in der ebenfalls besuchten Bubble Lodge)... Feinster weißer Naturstrand und zumindest Anfang Dezember (Nebensaison) fast leer. Das Resort hat auf der Insel ein gutes Beachrestaurant.

Just Perfect!
Excellent from beginning to end. The hotel staff are very helpful, the hotels has two islands which are very easily accessible with boats leaving the jetty every 20 mins. the sea is very clean around the hotel and the food is delicious. the experience was superb!

Staff are so genuinely caring. The property was stunning and all the staff couldnt do enough for you. I would like to give a special mention to Prince, Deepak, housekeeping team and gentleman who organises water sports. They all made our stay even more incredible. The breaks service was amazing and the whole property is stunning.

We stayed at Shangri-La Le Touessrok for the first 3 days of our honeymoon. This resort exceeded our expectations on every level. The staff was INCREDIBLE and made us feel like royalty. They bent over backwards to give us the most welcoming and enjoyable visit. We purchased the honeymoon package, which included a breakfast on the beach (was fabulous), foot massage, bottle of sparkling wine, and flowers/balloons. They even went above and beyond with that. They surprised us with a delicious cake to accompany the sparkling wine and had our room completely decorated when we returned from dinner on our anniversary night (we were honeymooning 2 years late due to Covid). The spa treatment was wonderful - much nicer than expected for being part of a package purchase. We spent an afternoon at the private island, to which they provide transportation, which was something we didn't know about until we got there. (Would recommend it!). We got to know the staff on a first name basis, and I honestly have never experienced the level of hospitality and kindness as we did at Shangri-La. I have zero complaints and would absolutely return to this property if we ever return to Mauritius.

Un grand merci à Ash aux petits soins ainsi qu'à toute l'équipe des managers pour leur accueil aux house keeping tout le monde avec de vraies petites attentions personnalisées et l'envie de faire au mieux pour notre séjour soit parfait. Très bons restaurants! Plage superbe et ilet privé avec navette à proximité et services de l'hôtel de haut niveau. Seul bémol peut-être sur la politique de l'hôtel qui facture de l'eau à boire au restaurant même en demi pension, cela nous a étonné compte tenu du très haut niveau général. Mille mercis à toute l'équipe pour cette superbe expérience! Nous espérons revenir le plus tôt possible!
