We had a great nights sleep, an excellent breakfast and a long and informative conversation with our host. In world that has fewer and fewer traditional Bed & Breakfast Inns, it was great to find one that was just where we needed it for our travels.”

“I can't say enough wonderful things about my stay here. The room was absolutely charming, with a king bed, jacuzzi tub, and a balcony with the spectacular river view. The complimentary breakfast served was a full, real country breakfast and delicious. Every staff member I met was more than gracious, kind, and hospitable-- each of them made my visit even more of a delight. The mattresses are getting a little saggy, but the historic charm and comfort of the hotel is always on point. We appreciate being able to walk to restaurants and the convenient locations to drive to whatever we need. We were bummed the Swamp Fox closed an hour earlier than advertised, though. ”

“The front desk agent was helpful with an issue we had with the room. We have a dog and the hotel has a small( tractor trailer size) fenced in area to let them roam free. Market has beer and wine ”
