“I have to say that having stayed at Coast hotels in the past, I was shocked to see this property as part of the Coast chain. The location was completely lacking in amenities, no walkability, parking lot was extremely small and in poor condition, really disappointing. The room was spacious but looked over a very run down property and garbage bin that was rustled through by people roaming in the laneway. the patio was unuseable as the astro turf was soaking wet and made the room floor wet and...

“The staff was outstanding, but the hotel is in a really bad part of town with drug addicts on the ground right outside, traffic noise that sounds like the windows are open when they're not, and a night club on the premises that plays music until 2:00 a.m. When we arrived, there was a terrible smell in the room that dissipated when we turned the air conditioner off. “This is an older motel, very clean and has good utilities. Close to good restaurants, buses, skytrain and TNT supermarket. Needs a mirror in the bedrooms and airconditioning as the units can get very hot. Pro tip: opem the lounge window, put the small fan on the window sill and run the fan, it will draw in cold air from outside and cool down the lounge room. The unit was large and spacious.”

“We made a last minute booking and were so happy with our choice. Great location, walking distance to explore Mount Pleasant or walk or take the Skytrain to downtown Vancouver. Excellent cooked to order breakfast. Room was clean and quiet, with a great shower. No a/c, but there was a good fan. Will definitely stay again.”

“The property was very clean and always smelled good. They were very accommodating and responded quickly to our request/questions. Only thing is we stayed 5 nights and the trash cans for the unit were so tiny. But over all we loved it. Its a beautiful placed nestled in the worst area of Canada.”

“For the price we paid, this hotel with its prime location near BC Place and Rogers, was terrific. The staff are friendly and the room (2 queen beds) was a decent size. The walls (like most hotels of this era) were a little thin but nothing we couldn't handle. We asked for and were given a room on the opposite side of BC Place so that cut down on the street noise.
