Hotel a Troy Grove

“My room was clean enough but had a funky damp smell to it. The pool was out of order and the breakfast was just ok.”

“Okay place. Affordable and the front desk clerk was helpful.”

“I chose this hotel because of the pool for my grandsons, but they said the pool was smelly and they wouldn’t use it. The room was fine. The breakfast was quite frankly, horrible.”

“Floor was dirty at check in. Offered a new room but didn't feel like moving after partially unpacking. Desk person came and vacuumed our room. Ice bucket had water in it from previous occupants. Front desk person brought us a new bucket. Room was loud due to highway being right behind hotel. Breakfast was good.”

“Breakfast was okay. Furniture was stained in a lot of places, the TV in the living area did not work. Housekeeping never showed up to service my room, maybe I should have requested? Elevator and other pieces of the hotel were very outdated. Walls were thin - I heard conversations and early alarms through the walls. Probably won't stay here again.”

“Best bang for buck you'll ever find. Not perfect as they don't have showers, and the sand is a bit annoying but the best for budget. Kayaking there was awesome 👍”

“The mini fridge wasn't working properly. It stopped and we tried to get it to work again. Wasn't very cold. Pool & hot tub were very small. If you are an adult, the hot tub holds 4, and the pool is big enough for kids. But not exactly adult friendly. Room was very nice, other than the fridge. Staff was great. Breakfast was GREAT!”

“The staff made this property! It’s “budget” so you have to expect that it’s older and a little run down, but the staff were phenomenal! Our first night we came in late after a long day of travel, he really took good care of us, treating us special. It was the best service we had all day long. Every day was a repeat. Little kindnesses that made us feel valued. It’s rare to get that level of care.”
