Convenient location, helpful staff.

We stayed at this hotel during their renovation - that morning the main entrance had been closed and so checking in required a circuitous route to the front desk. The expedia rate was great and the location was convenient to the workshop I was attending. The hotel site did state that construction would be going on during the dates I was booking, and so I am not "taking away" on the overall rating because of this inconvenience. At the same time, I'm giving an "ok" rating for facilities/condition, because well, that's the truth based on our experience.
The suite we were given was on the first floor, street side, and there was noise. If you reserve a room - ask for a room or suite facing the pool. Our room was dated and kind of "tired". Everything was very clean and in good repair. There was no hair dryer in our suite, so ask or bring your own. We did notice that some other rooms on our floor had been renovated with granite countertops and etc. Once the project is finished, the rooms will be lovely.
The gym was nice. The pool area was great. The kitchen area was well equipped and spotless. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with every interaction, and with the location of grocery and restaurants nearby.
I would stay there again - and I do recommend the hotel - once the work is done. Overall, a thumbs up!
