“The house is very dated, the beds were uncomfortable, the rubbish bins outside were overflowing. The listing states a hot tub and the photos show that that’s what drew us to book but upon arrival there wasn’t one ! The staff on the phone were rude when they called to complain about our parking, we wasn’t even in at the time. They didn’t even ask if everything was ok with the stay. Would I recommend it no !”

“L' hotel è fisicamente sepsrato dalla reception che si trova all'interno di un pub. Per fare la prima colazione (le foto sono ingannevoli!) devi attraversare un piazzale. Se piove son problemi. Hotel adatto per una notte e via. Tutto sommato pulito. Trenta minuti per avere asse e ferro da stiro, ma alla fine è arrivato.”

“Easy check-in. Tidy room bed and bit soft for my liking. Quick food service. Plenty of drinks to choose from. Staff polite. Pool table and dart board nice little extra. Breakfast spot on.”

“Perfect place to stay for our short visit to the area. We were made to feel very welcome from the outset. Staff were helpful and friendly. Cosy bedroom, comfy beds. All very clean. The food was tasty. We enjoyed an evening meal and breakfasts.”

“Quiet room though we were on the ground floor and had no view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were fine; the best onion bhajis of my life so they are THOROUGHLY recommended. We went in the sauna and the outdoor hot tub- that was amazing. All in all, a good stay and I would definitely return.”

“The hotel is right on the prom and beach.We had a superior room, which had a lovely view. Staff were generally lovely. My only real issues were that only one window opened in the room and that the room smelt bad. Not sure what of but maybe damp carpet. I was told there were no other superior rooms left to change rooms. Unfortunately did not get a chance to use Spa etc.I would like to return and hope for a better smelling room.”

“Such a quaint old Welsh building in a lovely rural setting just outside of the market town of Ruthin (it is in the middle of a static caravan park but a very pleasant one). A great location for exploring the many places to see around the area . Rooms are of a good size and well equipped. “Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants”

“Husband and I have just stayed here for a week with our big puppy and can honestly say the place is so beautiful, Jo and her husband have done a fantastic job with the pod and making it so homely inside. The pod had everything available from bed linen, towels, tea towels, cooking equipment, utensils, toaster, microwave , iron, ironing board, hair dryer, books, log burning fire and more. “The rooms had bugs , there was air conditioning outside on the landings but inside the rooms were disgusting no air conditioning we were sweltering and uncomfortable all night I would never stay here again beware”

“We had a brilliant stay. Kids loved the caravan. Beds are slightly uncomfortable but to be expected in a caravan and no toilet roll provided. Facilities in the park are great. The swimming pool has some great slides (you do have to pay for swimming but definitely worth it), kids loved the evening disco and there is a free train ride going round the park which was nice. Overall a lovely stay thankyou! It does say 7 minutes walk to Prestatyn beach but the main bit was actually over 55 minutes on...
