“This hotel is basically student accommodation, running and shouting down the hall ways around midnight. Eventually moved room after initially being told hotel was full to then be told "my bad" we have another room.”

“We were so pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The location is central to the town, the room was nice, and it was air conditioned….which was fabulous because we were there during a heat wave.”

“Air-conditioning was the issue . The staff for turn off the air-conditioner at 10 am we had a total of three rooms booked and two of them. The air-conditioner was not working. We had to call in the staff a few times to make sure the air-conditioner works. They were such hot days in London they should’ve made sure their air-conditioner works for their guests.”

“Difficult to get in. Outdated instructions. Staff appeared confused. 25 mins from arrival to getting to check in! Room was somewhat comfortable. ”

“I stayed in the Kingsbridge House area of the estate. The room although in a traditional house has everything a traditional hotel room would have from the key for the outside door, and room card key. All facilities top quality - only issue was the shower plug was blocked and flooded the walk in shower area. I reported this and they were keen to rectify.”

“Hotel has drastically gone downhill and is now used for what appears to be immigrant accommodation. Appealing that this isn’t made clear. Do not stay, staff rude.. uncomfortable surrounding”

“We had a lovely stay. The room was very clean, thanks to Barbara who did a very good job and was very pleasant. The room was nice and modern. The whole team of staff was friendly and very professional. The internet worked well and at a good speed. They had food available 24/7. It was easy to park the carfor free during our stay. Shops, restaurants and public transportswere at a.short distance walk. The room was quiet. We would stay here again.”

Grounds were very pretty and the outside gazebo area was very useful for the great got weather we have in June 2026. Our room had air con but I believe some don't have that from what our friend said. We stayed in one of the garden buildings. These are like mini apartments and you have to walk around to the back to get into the main building. This...
