“According to Expedia, the property is listed as having laundry facilities, but there were none. When I mentioned this, I was told to call a laundry service myself, which made me question whether the “concierge” service really lives up to its name. There is no refrigerator in the room, and amenities such as toothbrushes are charged separately, so considering these points, the hotel may feel a bit overpriced. On the positive side, the hot water pressure was strong, which made showering...

“All was lovely. The staff were pleasant. Typical Javanese Breakfast of rice, noodles, tempeh and coffee was good. The room was nice and location was on a quite Street just off of Ijen with several local restaurants nearby. We were hoping to extend our stay for a week but the WiFi was nonexistent and we could not get cell service in the room. WiFi worked okay in the lobby just outside but because of this we found another hotel just around the corner.”

The towels provided we very old (threadbare), the soap dispenser in the shower had some rusted parts which implied some rust pieces were released with the soap at each release and the shower had some molded sealings. The pillow sheets also didn't smell good, as if they had been kept in a dusty place or just not properly cleaned. ”
