“Management didn't think about the impact of the hot weather as the room was so hot and they supplied a tiny fan that did nothing to cool the room. Lots of spots in the hotel needs updating or repairing. Both the staff and the leisure amenities were great.”

“A lovely inn situated in a peaceful village but very handy for visiting the attractions within York and the North Yorkshire National park. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and our room was very clean and comfortable. We can recommend the food and drinks on offer in the air conditioned restaurant, both on the evening we stayed and for breakfast the following day. Top marks.”

“Such an amazing stay. Check in was easy and super friendly. Great communication and WiFi was great. Loved our room and the fresh milk For my coffee in my room was a bonus. Didn’t have breakfast but looked amazing and did not need to use car park but there looked like plenty of spaces which is rare in York. Loved this place and will definitely come back”
