“The room, bathroom and kitchen were all clean. The bathroom had a lovely rain shower with marble tiles. Comfortable bed with quality linen and pillows. The host was very polite and accommodating. ”

“Room was very nice. Hot tub was comfortably warm, but the interior really needed some work and upgrading. Also, the internet went out for an hour or more which was a bit frustrating. The grounds are lovely and it is near to town. Overall, I would still recommend it.”

“Well appointed room and lovely welcome from owners on arrival. Really good views of Russell township and the water / boats. Only thing I would say, bring some strong legs if you plan on walking - the driveway is STEEP hahaaaa. Had a very pleasant stay (5 nights).”

“Could use a pair of kitchen scissors and the bottom shelf on the fridge kept collapsing The couches really need to be replaced as they sag badly when you sit on them Otherwise all good ”

“We had our own little cabin (Unit #8). Open floor plan for kitchen, dining, bed. Seating on a nice little deck. Shower looks tired, but hot water showed up quickly and I had a good shower. Our only issue was that there were ants in the kitchen. The owner/manager said he would take care of it when we went out for dinner, and when we came back, no more ant issue.”

“Our experience with ‘Moongate villa’ was disappointing because on our 2nd day, some building works began next door which woke us up at 8.00am in the morning and the cement pouring and flattening machines started working. It’s no exaggeration to say that the whole of our building vibrated to the machines being used. As for the noise all of this created, it was horrendous! The owners of ‘Moongate villa’ agreed to give us 1 x night free of charge. Please confirm that you can refund us this back...
