“Our stay was a weekend getaway for our 6th anniversary. The cabin was so cozy! It had everything we needed! We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. We cooked in the indoor and outdoor kitchen. We used the grill AND pizza oven! The are several ponds on the property full of frogs and fish. There was food available to feed to fish. There were so many Harry Potter touches in the cabinet. The keys in the ceiling were perfect! The large quilt was super comfy. 10/10 recommend!”

“This property is close enough to civilization yet far enough away to unplug, unwind, and relax. The most outstanding feature of the property by far is the porch. Rain or Shine you will spend the majority of your time on the porch. During the day, you relax on the porch, reading, catching up on tv, or just listening to nature. “Everyone was very satisfied with the layout of the house we stayed in. We had two boats and the double carport worked out just fine keeping our boats out of the weather. Just a short drive to the lake and we had our boats on the water. We would recommend this house to anyone needing to stay in the Scottsboro area . If available next year we will be staying there again ! Two things would help new guests coming in would be a picture of the house and a phone number listed for the property manager .”

The home was well appointed, well applied, and the views of the valley below were simply stunning. A number of staple items, including sugar, salt and pepper, paper towels, and garbage bags were available should had we forgotten any of these. “Of course there is cons with any rental property but with this I have to search for negatives. The bed was really firm, the leg room in front of the toliet is small, the drywaller must have been drunk when they did the finishing (you can literally see the tape). Regardless, it was exactly what you want. The place was VERY clean, very put together, extremely easy to check in and out of… all of the big stuff was done very well! Also, it wasn’t unnoticed the extra towels, trash bag and cleaning...

“From the moment we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised! Such a cool place and the house was immaculate. We all commented on it, everything was very comfortable. Owner communicated with me very quickly when I had a question. One thing we would have changed was having chairs on the patio, but I think it was the first nice weekend of the spring.
