Hotel a Vandiver

“Clean room and functional Air conditioning is a good start. This location has plenty of restaurants around and is right off the freeway. I’d stay here again.”

“Pool was closed.... Room was great and spacious. The shower was maybe the best around. Breakfast was just okay.”

“The room didn’t look like it had been swept/vaccumed, but it was dusted. The sink was clogged. A/C had to be turned down to 62 degrees Fahrenheit in order to be comfortable. The decor didn’t look too outdated. Staff was nice and polite but didn’t say anything when I mentioned the sink. In a pinch I would consider staying again. I didn’t stay for the breakfast, so I can’t give an opinion on that.”

“The refrigerator was making noise at night, the room was terribly musty and the bed feels like it’s 20 years old. Not what I expected from a Fairfield Inn.”

“An extremely nice and helpful staff. The property and room were/are very clean. Breakfast is small but very sufficient. The rooms are very modernized with hard flooring (no carpet) which can be a big plus if it were not for the cold effect to bare feet. A minor personal adjustment. Overall an excellent stay.”

“You get what you pay for. It wasn’t the worst place we’ve stayed, but it definitely wasn’t the best either. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The property could also use some TLC and updates in a few areas. Our AC unit was inconsistent and only seemed to work when it wanted to. That being said, if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay for a quick overnight stop or just somewhere to rest during your travels, it does the job....

“Breakfast was great and Lady was wonderful in the dining room. Room was acceptable but the odor of cleaning products was overpowering. Linens were great. Pillows were terrible. Staff was slow and had trouble understanding family needed to stay on the same floor. All issues were resolved but anyone with hospitality experience would aware of guest needs. Overall exceptable experience. ”

“I lifted the blanket and found a dark crumb that’s a size of a thumbnail. I had to pick it up with a tissue. Also, there was stains on every pillow case. I found a couple of ants on the bathroom floor. The AC and the fridge as well as the traffic noise from outside were too loud to fall asleep. Other than that the hotel was fine.”
