“The room was very clean, had a okay view of the ocean, the WiFi was great. No problems at all”

“Was advised that I would be met at airport and no one there until I called again and waited an extra 30 minutes. Unreliable! On arrival at the hotel, our room was not ready, when check in was expected by 3 pm. We did not get a room until 4:30 and at that point put us in a room in a lower level with lesser views. “This my second time staying at this place and when I thought things would have been better after the first time, It became worst. When I arrived the reception was closed from after 4pm or 5pm. my flight landed 7:40pm. The entrance gate was closed I had to open it on my own. I had to call out for someone to come and attend to me and give me a key to which ever room I was assigned to. When asked if the resturant is opened. answer was no it is close for now, which means I can't have breakfast at...

“Excellent place.”

“The location was perfect. Close to the bus terminal ferry terminal and my dive boat. Plenty of eating options. Everything was a 5 to ten minute walk. The room was very nice. New tile on the floor and in the whole bathroom. Plenty of hot water. T v worked fine. I got to watch free movies on youtube channel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. He helped me do a load of laundry for free. There was a supermarket downstairs from the hotel. Perfect!”

“The Golden Rock is a one of a kind property and we cannot wait to go back. The cleanliness was a 10/10 and the landscaping was absolutely stunning. The restaurant was excellent for every meal we had. I highly recommend the conch chowder. Thank you Golden Rock! ”

“The owners and staff were awesome. They took time to get to know us and were so welcoming and helpful with anything we needed. They gave us info about how to get around and offered to organize things for us. The property was unique and the individual cottages were amazing. Be aware though, there’s no AC. It didn’t bother us but might be a deal breaker for some. We will absolutely be back! ”

“The room was clean and spacious. Has an iron board but no iron, guess you can ask for. Lady on reception was very nice. Staff on restaurant and food are great with lovely view. Internet sometimes goes a bit lower but did the job. Tv is good aircon good. For the price point it is a great stay. ”

“Tried to book a waxing at the spa but there were no available staff until later in the day. Our ocean view room was nice however the screen on the sliding door was broken so could not leave it open at night in lieu of AC. The AC was very loud and noisy. The beach is located on the Atlantic Ocean so it was rough and so much seaweed. We opted to take cabs to the Carribean side to swim. ”

“this is the most spectacular but understated resort. Noreen and Christina took care of our every need. Food was excellent The view is worth a million and you can enjoy it from the room dining on the terrace or swimming in the pool ”
