“Beautiful resort in a stunning environment, a few meters from the beach. Staff is exquisite, we had an amazing staying. Excellent variety of food for breakfast, brunch and lunch; Miri restaurant doesn't offer the same wide choices for dinner, but maybe it was due to the fact that it was low season and there were not many guests. “Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt aber etwas weiter weg von ANJUNA Beach und man braucht ein Scooter oder Taxi um zum Strand zu fahren. Das Frühstück wurde nicht als Büffet sondern a la carte serviert.”

“La struttura e' buona non adatta a soggiorni di relax per lo svolgersi di eventi che hanno luogo nellatea della piscina e sotto le canere. Rumore assordante per i lavori di allestimento dalle 5.30 del mattino a tardo pomeriggio. Musica oltre i decibel consentiti. Nessun controllo di staff dedicato alle urladei bambini e degli adulti in atra piscina. Spiaggia e mate deludenti.breakfast con grande show off ma qualita' da villaggio turistico. “My fiancé and I booked a night at The Beach House. It was an amazing stay. Everything is so well looked after and well organised. Clean bathrooms and toilets, comfortable bed (which was much needed)—was a relaxing stay! Everything was taken care of. “I stayed at this hotel in March 2024 and this is, so far, my top 1 hotel I've stayed at in Colva. From the moment I checked in until I checked out I felt at home. The staff are helpful and pleasant always with a smile on their faces and they really care about their guests. Anita at the front desk was great! “This was the second time I stayed at this hotel and I was happy to see it was still the same good place as back in 2016. The staff is helpful and friendly, the rooms are simple but clean. To reach the beach it´s about 2-3 minutes walk. The room and the pool area look exactly as pictures on the booking site. Overall, once again a good experience.”

“The attention to detail and level of service was excellent. The only negative about this place is that some of the guests behaviour is an absolute joke e.g if they want your sun bed, they’ll happily throw your stuff off or even use it as there isnt many there, this isn’t the hotels fault though. “L'hotel e' molto bello e non tradisce le aspettative da questo punto di vista. E' immerso in un meraviglioso giardino tropicale con piante di ogni tipo e un sentiero di 100 mt porta direttamente alla spiaggia di Colva, dove pero' l'hotel non ha alcun tipo di servizio se non il telo mare. Non ci sono lettini, ombrelloni, bar...nulla! In tal modo diventa impossibile usufruire della spiaggia. Anche il ristorante lascia un po' a desiderare. Non c'e' molta scelta e sono di una lentezza esasperante!...

“Everything about Resort Rio is attractive. Highlights were the huge swimming pool (which unfortunately we couldn't use due to Covid, however we did click loads of pictures around the entire property), the staff, the food and ambiance. Coming back here on every special occasion as the staff here makes it much much more special.”
