credit card thieves
Data di pubblicazione: 19-lug-2017 su Hotels
This happened in Best Western Plus Bologna in Mestre Italy:
at check-in, the front-desk guy ask for a copy of my credit card (as usual in many hotels for covering possible expenses exceeding initial online payment); right after check-out (5 minutes after) a long row of worldwide online payments start on my credit card; I called my bank and blocked my credit card. I also called hotel to speak with the manager; the front desk guy named Mirko refused to put me in contact with manager;
I'm sure that somebody from inside this hotel steals credit card data and uses to his own advantage.
I guess a police investigation must be mandatory.
Dear Mr. Dancuta,
we noticed your hotels.com review regarding your recent stay at our hotel.
We strongly reject your accusation against our hotel policies and moreover we want to firmly reject your suspects to our personnel staff.
we are sorry for the inconvenience you reported but we are sure that there's nothing about it that could in any way be related to our policies and procedures.
For this, we too think that the police investigation should be welcome.
According to the Italian current laws it's up to you to start such an investigation contacting the police officers giving them all the details you mentioned on your comment.
We are more than confident that nothing could be imputable on our side and we are also always available, if you want to, to receive from you the details of the worldwide online payments you mentioned on your credit card so to clearly show you the ones we made according to our usual hotel procedures.
Anyway we remain at your disposal for any further clarification.
