“Funky little roadside motel. Park right next to your room. Simple no frills but clean and comfortable. If youre just looking for a place to crash and go its perfect”

“We were there no longer than 30 minutes and a cockroach climbed out from behind the head board. ”

“It was beautiful I wish we had more time missed breakfast because of the times breakfast was, the sausage was not cooked well and the eggs were slimy, because we had to go we didn’t have time to wait for bacon and fresh eggs to be prepared. ”

“We were pleased with our stay at the Viking Motel . Check-in at 8 pm was quick and simple. The room was very clean and had tile floors throughout. The king bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. Having a full kitchen was a bonus, even though we did not cook, but just had breakfast from the grocery store. This is an older property, but it has been updated better than many older places we have stayed.”

“Rooms are very ran down. No shower curtains, shower head didn't have caulking. But for the price and a place to lay your head it will work.”

“Terrible stay. Dirty toilet as soon as I walked in. No air conditioning, wifi went out,no housekeeping, hidden fees. False advertisement, horrible. ”

“Reserved a king but got 2 doubles which is fine. The room was so filthy. Infested with black mold. I would never advise anyone to stay there. Very very bad”

“Had a great stay! Location is extremely convenient for the beach and Ventura Main St. This will be our go to stay for a quick weekend getaway.”

“The hotel is absolutely lovely -- the staff were all kind and professional. We did ask about getting a different room that wasn't on the first floor in a dark corner...but the room was so cute we eventually didn't care. But if you book with a third party -- such as Expedia -- they won't upgrade or accommodate requests. ”

“It right on the beach, but parking is questionable at the very least. If you are not using valet, your self parking in a shady garage. The hotel itself was just ok, and right next to train tracks with trains passing quite frequently. I wanted to like the place more, but it’s average. It does the job if you’re only using the place to sleep. Staff is great though. Everyone was very friendly. ”
