“My daughter and I stayed here for the mother-daughter Gilmore Girls trip and I can't say enough good things. From the first moment of walking in the door, the view of the Housatonic River was breathtaking. The beds are gorgeous and so comfortable. The room is very spacious and relaxing. The little soaps provided are premium and smell so good. We will definitely be back. “Nonostante il preavviso di una settimana non sono riuscita ad entrare in contatto con i gestori per cancellare la prenotazione ed avere un rimborso ( unico modo era un contatto telefonico ma dall'italia complicato) Sarebbe andato bene anche un rimborso parziale, nulla. Alla mail con la mia richiesta non ho mai ricevuto risposta, al mio non apparire in stanza nemmeno. Non lo consiglierei a nessuno: nel mezzo della campagna senza nessun tipo di assistenza”

“This is actually a beautiful building. The rooms of especially the bathrooms that they are advertising with Jacuzzi tubs are extremely overdue for renovation. There is paint and tile chipping all over the place in the bathroom and Jacuzzi tub. The sheets had those are yellow stains on them if you know what I’m talking about it looks good from the outside. It’s a different world on the inside.”

“It does not seem there are Kings beds despite advertising/offering of such. Room has a full and a twin and no, they cannot be pushed together. The entire room is tiny. I mean tiny. My bf knees touched shower curtain when sitting on toilet and could not shut door-tiny. We did not attempt to use shower because so small. That being said, it satisfies what we needed it for-it was inexpensive as rates go, it was clean, the AC worked well as did the tv. Honestly I’d give 2.5.”

“Clean room, helpful staff. We only slept there one night. Was there maybe 8 hours. The vents were comfortable. The towels need to be updated and we're not as white as I'd like them to be. A bit gray/worn. Other than that it fit our needs.”

“Loved this house and the quiet respite in the woods. It is a bit far from the village, but so lovely. Spacious suites are comfortable and bathroom is beautiful. The bed was wonderful. The staff was kind and gracious. Will visit again!”

“We were at the Holiday Inn Express in Poughkeepsie probably for the last time attending our daughter's graduation. The location was terrific to come and go to Vassar and the restaurants and stores along route 9. Plenty of parking. The rooms were comfortable and ready. The breakfast is done as well as the type of hotel can do - there was even some variety between the mornings.”

“It was difficult to get into the room with two tricky combination locks. You can't watch any TV unless you know your streaming service passwords, no free TV. The coffee machine was plugged in but we couldn't figure out how to work it (no instructions available to read). The mattress was excellent and we slept well. Some might not like the train horns, but we didn't mind.”

“The room was freezing cold for about a half hour when we got there but the heater worked well and eventually it warmed up. Room was large and clean. Parking was right in front of room. Wish the room had a full length mirror. People travel when they have an event to go to and we like to see how we look. The bathroom mirror sort of tilts down for a bit of an outfit check but a full length would have been great. Bed was comfortable and bedding was really nice! Guy who runs the place was very nice!...
