We enjoyed our stay at Recanissu Apartment. The location was very central but the stairs... oh my. We were traveling with my in-laws who are in their 70's and getting up and down these stairs was quite a challenge for them. So much so, once my mother-in-law got up there, she didn't want to come back down. Bringing luggage up and down them was even more of a challenge. Thankfully, there is a porter service offered at the train station which I would highly recommend for anyone who isn't super strong or has more than a backpack in terms of luggage. We know that is one of the challenges of staying in the Cinque Terre. I don't believe any of the apartments there have elevators (I've never seen one) and many of the apartments are on the 4th of 5th floor.
Aside from the stairs, the apartment was very nice. The furnishings were beautiful and the kitchen was functional but lacked some basics to make meals. There are a lot of good, inexpensive food options right outside the front door though.
The check in process was easy and the management company was helpful. Overall it was a good stay.
