“We never set foot in the place unfortunately. We got to the property after dark and it was unlit exterior The door was not programmed as promised and we could not get in. The owner didn’t respond to our or the property management company’s many communications for two days so we had to stay at a run down hotel which was all we could get at 9:30 on a Friday night in the middle of nowhere A week later the owner still hadn’t responded or apologized for our family’s considerable inconvenience...

“The rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. Breakfast offered good options.”

“The Inn was delightful and exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Rose Suite, which was spacious and well appointed. Comfortable beds, terrific shower. The restaurant and some amenities weren’t available because it was late March so off-season, but the grounds are beautiful and the breakfast was very good with excellent variety for continental. The falls are immediately past the Inn, an easy, short hike. ”

“The room was clean. The sink in the kitchenette was plugged and the microwave buttons didnt work. Our room faced the pool so you would smell strong chlorine smell. Its was ok for us not staying long.”

“Heavy language barrier when trying to check in, they control heat and give you a space heater incase you get cold. Room was hot for me and old window unit would not keep up”

“Staff were not friendly and checking in was awful. Waited over 10 minutes. She was rude to me as well as other guests. Yelling on phone as well. Not friendly. Check out with another staff was better. At least she was kind. Didn’t seem like she was happy to be working, but was nice.”

“We've been visiting this hotel for many years. It has a path in the back leading right to buttermilk falls State Park, which is huge highlight. But the hotel did change ownership in 2024, and it seems it's still finding it's stride since then. There were renovations last year, which we were excited to see. We found the resulting lounge well done but quite small. The lobby is nice but not a huge change. Seems they need to work on the rooms... our room needed a new shower fan and toilet seat...

“Not sure if this was entirely the fault of the hotel, but there was a semi tractor trailer truck parked right next to the hotel taking up about 8 prime parking spots. Engine started running in the parking lot outside our room at 5AM and continued for an hour with all the lights on. Could not sleep. It was ridiculous. Worse stay ever at a Quality Inn.”
