“Beautiful bedrooms in quirky old wooden hotel. The food is very good, but the restaurant gets very noisy as it’s so full.”

“A lovely setting unfortunately full of golfers but as it's a golf club it is to be expected 😀 We had a car accident the day before we were due to leave and the lovely receptionist Anna was so helpful with giving us a free extended checkout time. The room was lovely, I wasn't overly overwhelmed by the menus available but the breakfast choices were excellent. All in all we had a lovely time and I would definitely recommend Dale Hill”

“Hotel old and tired, smelled strange! Room boiling hot no fan supplied. Food served was not as described on menu and of poor quality for the price. Breakfast tables had not been cleared difficult to find a clean one. Poor selection on a buffet breakfast, eggs inedible. Staff pleasant but seemed happier when outside chatting and smoking. I would not stay here again or recommend to anyone.”

“Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. “The room was nice and big. The staff were friendly. The location was great, near lots of pubs and restaurants. The pub is good too, with friendly people. Not necessarily suited for young children on friday night as the area is loud until 0030, although it did quieten down once bars were shut. The shower water pressure in the evening seemed a lot lower than the morning.”
