“This property fully deserves its near-perfect reviews. Plenty of space for our family of four, utilizing the pull-out futon and air mattress. Our kids loved the koi pond, finding giant frogs and snails around the lawn, and waking up to a rooster crowing. No air conditioning, but ceiling fans and open windows kept the unit cool enough even in June. Idyllic location, relatively short drive to Volcanoes NP or anything else on Hilo side. Very well stocked including full cabinet of beach gear....

Having a single mirror in only the bathroom made getting ready by all guests tough and the kitchen could benefit from a drip coffee machine but not a deal breaker since they provided a chimex with hot water pot.
