There was no hand soap, only a facial bar, and when the AC came on it left a terrible smell in the room. The check-in experience was also uncomfortable, with the staff member making strange small talk with my wife. “It was one of the best places we've ever stayed. Staff friendly, rooms beautiful, location at campus of Berea College was wonderful with a lot of history. Bed was sooo comfortable. Next time driving from OH to ATL to visit family this will definitely be the stopping point. Highly recommend.”

“Very old building. Staff that checked in was nice , but the building and rooms look as they are used as a "charge by the hour" place. If you no what i mean. Nasty, skanky, foul smelling . Never again. I dont think ive ever used skanky in a description of anything.”

“This hotel is in really bad condition. The linens were very dingy and there was no body wash. The plumbing was loud and not hot. There was no housekeeping staff during the early evening. The rooms do not look or feel clean. There was very little food and NO coffee. We went to the Hardee’s across the street. The Baymont is very convenient to the music venue across the street but we will be driving a little further next time. ”
