“BEWARE! The owner did not provide the details for the lockbox unless the cleaning fee was paid in advance (and asking for more than advertised). The property then changed to a different location entirely, as the one advertised was suddenly not available. All of the above happened after check in time had commenced. Needless to say I did not fall for this and neither should you!”

“Alles was erg netjes. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het grote appartement is van alle comfort voorzien en is een ideale uitvalsbasis voor de vele prachtige wandelingen. Bij regenweer liggen Echternach en Trier op zo'n 20 km. Vooral Trier is zeer de moeite waard met zijn prachtige musea.”

They offered me another apartment that they claimed to be the same as the one I booked with no extra cost. From the link they sent me, the new apartment seems like a major downgrade from the previous one; only 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. I messaged them back to ask for better...

“Samt alles sehr schlecht. Um 14:03 Uhr kam die Meldung, dass es ein Problem mit der Wohnung gibt und wir nicht in die Wohnung können. Alles weitere hat sich danach nur noch ins negative gezogen. Ein Horror mit 3 Kleinkindern!”

“Die Wohnung passt hervorragend zum Inserat, wir waren sogar positiv überrascht, wie großzügig die Räume sind. Toller Platz zum draußen sitzen und auch die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Selbst den Grill haben wir nutzen dürfen und wir hätten auch die Möglichkeit gehabt, die Außentoilette zu benutzen. Top!! Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt! Kurze Wege in die wunderschöne Innenstadt mit tollen Restaurants, zum Bahnhof ist es ein kleiner Katzensprung und bis zum Schiffsanleger keine 10 Minuten....
