Shadow Lake Retreat House ~ Waterfront ~ Includes Kayaks!

Goditi la Retreat House di Bethany per una rilassante vacanza sulle rive del bellissimo Lago Shadow, a Waupaca, WI. Che tu sia qui per una vacanza divertente, per rinfrescare il tuo spirito o per un viaggio d'affari, il nostro lodge sul lago è la casa perfetta lontano da casa.

Il nostro rifugio lodge si trova proprio sul lago ed è completamente arredato con abbondanza di spazio e servizi per tutti. Ci sono molte attività sul posto ea breve distanza dal Retreat House. Convenientemente vicino al centro di Waupaca ma ha l'esperienza di campeggio che è necessario per fuggire.

Ci sono tre grandi sale comuni in tutta la casa che hanno posti a sedere disponibili per tutto il gruppo con una splendida vista sul Lago Ombra visto chiaramente attraverso grandi finestre.

Posti a sedere all'aperto e sedie sono anche al Retreat House da utilizzare durante il soggiorno; con opzioni per rilassarsi al sole o all'ombra. Esci sul lago con la tua moto d'acqua preferita per prendere il sole.

Goditi il tavolo da biliardo, il bersaglio, i film e altri giochi al coperto in una giornata piovosa. Prepara la cena alla brace, sopra un fuoco, usa la cucina o addirittura cammina verso uno dei ristoranti di Betania per prendere del cibo. Downtown ha anche una varietà di scelte gastronomiche uniche da provare. The Retreat House ha tutto il necessario per rilassarti davvero.

La Retreat House di Betania si trova proprio sul Lago Ombra, che è una posizione privilegiata per vedere i fuochi d'artificio annuali del 4 luglio di Waupaca.

La casa si trova proprio accanto a un parco cittadino che ha un parco giochi, un'area picnic, due rifugi, un bagno, un molo per la pesca, il varo e un museo. La spiaggia di nuoto sabbiosa ha una zattera, scivolo e trampolino. I bagnini sono in servizio dal Memorial Day fino al Labor Day.

Vicino alla Retreat House si trova il Crystal River Walking Trail di Bethany con fermate di sosta e passerelle che si estendono per sorvegliare il Crystal River.

We have been there before and enjoyed the inside space with sleeping spots for 14 family members. The kitchen is well-appointed with what we needed mostly . But would like Kleenex. Salt and Paper. Regular coffee maker needs vinegar cleaning. Need more than two youth life jackets. Plastic cups in bathrooms. Provide more than one roll of TP per bathroom. Extra paper towel . Really like the new flooring downstairs!

Great escape

Me, my husband and our two grown daughters all thoroughly enjoyed our time at Shadow Lake. It’s a perfect location with wonderful amenities like the kayaks & paddle boards. Our host was wonderful and very responsive to an unusual situation, handling it very professionally, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Amazing Getaway with Friends

Perfect Getaway at Shadow Lake

We had an incredible trip at Shadow Lake Retreat House. The place had everything we needed—plenty of space, a big kitchen, patio with stunning lake views. Weekend of fishing, playing games, and watching sports. The peaceful setting made it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some quality time. Highly recommend for a laid-back group getaway.

Perfect lake retreat for a group!

We had the pleasure of staying in the Pleasure Lake Retreat House. The home is situated on a small lake and has everything a group could ask for to keep entertained. It comfortably slept six people with room and beds to spare. There is a pool table, dart board, ping pong table, fishing poles, basketballs and a hoop and board games. We never got bored and would love to come back on our next visit to the area.

Large place, great location

The property is very clean (other than the carpet in some areas), well furnished and organized. The equipment they provide for outdoor sports and play are excellent. The lake views throughout the house are amazing. There are lots of very clean windows! The multiple sitting areas are comfortable. One bedroom has only one tiny underground window, so the room is dark. Bathrooms are kind of dated. It’s right in town, but the neighborhood is quiet and the lake is beautiful, so it doesn’t feel like it’s in town. The instructions are very clear. (I’ll let the owner know of one confusion.)

Clean and comfortable

The cabin was very clean, spacious, and homey. Plenty of areas indoor and out to hang out or find a quite spot. Kitchen had a lot of space and most everything you’d need. It was a nice stay and hope to be back in the winter for ice fishing.

Great for large group

The layout of this house is PERFECT for a large group, especially of varying ages, with bedrooms on one side and common areas on the other. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare large group meals. And the living room was so cozy and welcoming for our winter weekend getaway. The lake access was perfect for ice fishing and I’d imagine even better for summer swimming fun.

Awesome Lake House!

We had an amazing time! The host was very gracious and communicated effectively. I have a 7 year old Autistic son and I was worried about being so close to the lake, but I bought some door sensors from Amazon to ensure he didn’t elope. Every thing worked out we really enjoyed our stay!

The perfect girls getaway

We just returned from an amazing girls weekend at this VRBO, and I can't recommend it highly enough! We hosted 16 girls, and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax, chat, eat, and laugh together. The three showers were a game-changer for our larger group, ensuring no one was left waiting. The huge windows offered stunning views, filling the space with natural light. The unique woodwork and cozy fireplace added a special touch to the ambiance. With two fridges, we had plenty of room for all our snacks and drinks, which was essential for our long stay. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil you could possibly need, along with an abundance of silverware, plates, bowls, and cups—truly a cook's dream. The property was impeccably clean and quiet, making it the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. Our hosts were incredibly helpful, kind, and caring, which made our stay even more enjoyable. From the moment we arrived and saw the place, our jaws dropped—it was just that beautiful! We all wished we could stay there every weekend. This VRBO is truly one of the best we’ve ever experienced. We can't wait to come back!

Amazing

Five adult couples stayed at the lake retreat for a long weekend. We had a friend’ son wedding at Camp Elsewhere which was very close. The views from the house are amazing. We enjoyed lake days outside. We did not use all the kayaks, Canoe or bikes that are at the property but so nice they were there. The house was large and comfortable for relaxing and sleeping. Highly recommended.

This place only has two things working against it from our stay. There were a few issues with cleanliness; hair in the shower, egg on a pan, and crumbs on the kitchen and living rooms tables. Secondly...HWY 10 is close and the noise is non-stop. The good, and there is more good than bad, the place is huge. We had no problem being comfortable even with kids running about. The lake is great and clear enough to snorkel past the weeds. We did fish from the provided kayaks, nothing huge, but we only fish like once a year. The kids had a blast fishing from the pier, learning how to snorkel, and learning how to kayak. Town is nice and close and the area restaurants we visited were great. The host was also a fantastic help at check out.
