“Reception was excellent. Grounds/estate amazing, miles of walking and an historic church with a 900 or so old Yew. It is worth reading the history of the place, layers and layers of it. They take beautiful care of the property. I had a beautiful room with a beautiful view right out my doors and a little patio. “You need sharp eyesight to see the hotel as it's right on the roundabout. It was perfectly placed for where we needed to be the next day. Parking was not a problem. The room was an odd shape and in need of new carpet. The doors are fire doors and they really did Bang shut every time someone came in our out of the coach house. The staff were Friendly and very helpful without being intrusive . The tables in the restaurant felt sticky which slightly puts you off although the meals were...

The area is quiet at night for a good sleep, the yard and gardens lovely, and an excellent pub close by. We really hope to be back one day.”

“We had a lovely stay in the Beacon View accommodation. It has a back deck with a superb view so we were disappointed it rained for the whole time lol. Perfect spot for exploring the South Downs National Park, or hopping to Lewes, or like us a day trip to Drusillas Zoo....”
