“It’s very peaceful and very clean I love the rooms”

“It was moderately clean but our blankets smelled like pee and I had to clean the bathroom when we got there.”

“The check in was fine. Room looked fine. However, when my husband lay on the bed we found the mattress was cracked about a third of the way across. Never seen anything like it. We don’t even know how someone could make the bed like that. Did no one report this cracked bed? Why would they just rent that out? But for sure we would not be able to sleep on that so we requested another room, which was given. That room turned out to be the one we had noticed earlier had an open door. We check the room...

“Absolutely magnificent home! Years and years of loving curation provide pure eye candy for visitors while lending a true element of grandmacore nostalgia, exhibiting decades of a life well lived in every available space!! The host, Burnette, is a lovely lady and greets you with the warmth of a grandmother, happy to welcome you in with a cup of hot tea! Breakfast was a scrumptious homemade quiche and cherries jubilee! We look forward to returning!! ”

“The room was relatively clean except for a half full water bottle sitting on the window ledge. There was a very noticeable spot on the bedskirt.. looked like something spilled. The check-in staff was efficient but not overly friendly such a change from Starkville…everyone is so friendly. The check-out employee was wonderful. Overall a good place to stay. I prefer staying in Starkville over Columbus.”

“I honestly didn’t realize a chain hotel could be this bad. This place feels like it hasn’t been updated since the 1970s or 1980s, and the mattresses seem just as old. The rooms were dirty, and the floors still had visible dirt on them when we arrived. We had to change rooms even though we had reserved a non-smoking room because the rooms next to us were occupied by guests smoking marijuana, and the smell was overwhelming. The second room upstairs was a little better, but it still smelled like...

“I like the affordable rooms and the location to anything you might want and the rooms are clean and it's not a bunch of hooligans running around”

“The rooms are clean and the breakfast bar has been good. I have stayed here about four times over the past two years and the breakfast buffet is always good.”
