“We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. ”

“The hosts are helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable, with a great view, and a private bathroom close by. There was a kettle in the room, with tea, coffee, fresh milk and drinking water. The dining room is quite grand, with another excellent view. We could help ourselves to fruit, juice and yogurt, the bread had just been made, and the cooked part of the breakfast was also excellent. Parking is next to the house, well away from the road. We will be back if we stay in the area again.”

“Stayed in the Scudamore apartment for a few days. The property is easy to find with plenty of parking. Easy access and both Nadia and Claire were very helpful when we wanted to extend our stay. The apartment has absolutely everything we needed, very comfortable, clean and tidy. The shower is excellent and milk tea coffee were provided as well as the very much appreciated mini jaffas. Will definitely stay again. ”

“We had a great stay here for a few nights with the family over Easter. The barn is lovely and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed including a big multi-oven cooker which made cooking for 6 people with varied dietary requirements very straightforward. The garden is lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some of the trees in full blossom. We enjoyed some superb walking and there was plenty of information provided to help us find paths that didn’t show up on my internet...

“The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok. ”
