“Wir genossen den Aufenthalt in einem charmanten Haus mit großem, gepflegten und das Haus perfekt einschließenden Garten. Ein wohltuender Gegensatz zu vielen in der Gegend stehenden Häusern, die zwar neuer waren, jedoch in kahler Umgebung wenig einladend wirkten. Die Lage war perfekt für Ausflüge zu Fuß und mit dem Wagen.”

“I believe that the landlord must put himself in the tourist's shoes and that s/he should make them feel like home. Tourists arrive tired on holiday, and the onliy thing they wants to do, after arriving in a welcoming and clean house, having unpacked their bags and tidied up, is to relax. Unfortunately, i did not find all this in this house. The hosts were on Holiday and gave us a telephone number to contact. This person was also away and after we needed him, he gave us a new contact number. 1:...

“Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. ”

“Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
