“I wasn't sure what to expect before I arrived at the Derby Arms but the initial greeting was warm and sincere. My room was delightful, clean and well appointed with a good sized bathroom with both a bath and a choice of shower heads. For both nights I ate in the restaurant and was served by a charming and efficient waitress. “Although there was an issue with my booking on arrival (I had a confirmation but it hadn’t been received by the hotel), they were great about it and didn’t hesitate to get me a room organised. I was a late arrival and the kitchen had closed but again the team sorted me something to eat. The room was great and breakfast was fabulous. Highly recommended!”

“This is the 5th time we’ve stayed here in a year. Excellent stay, we were a little early for check in, however we had been sent the check in details earlier, so we entered the building to see if the room was ready, I was greeted at our room by a staff member/owner, he was putting the heating on in all the rooms because it was so cold - very thoughtful touch.
