“The rooms were not cleaned completely from previous guests. The towels were not all clean and fresh. The staff was loud overnight with their personal chat, one in particular had a very loud voice that could be heard on the first and second floor. If you’re looking for a good night’s sleep, this might not be it. ”

“This is an OLD Red Roof Inns motel. The air conditioner’s heat exchanger fins were very dusty and made quite an odor on start up. The refrigerator condenser was no better. It appears some of the guests are “extended-stay” clientele. The phone does not work along with cold water in the bathroom sink.”

“Staying here is like stepping back in time to a more elegant and refined era. The house is filled with antiques and has been decorated with great taste. It has a wonderful sitting area downstairs, and the bedrooms are whimsical and delightful. The breakfasts far exceeded my expectations. Maybe best thing of all is the proprietor, Holland. She is warm, engaging and thoroughly charming. My wife and I hope to have reasons to visit Spokane, again, soon, so we can stay here, again. ”
