“Great location, affordable, great staff, clean pool, allows dogs (all rooms have tile floors)—I didn’t bring a dog but I met a few who were staying there. Excellent BYO Mexican food across the street. So close to the boardwalk you can hear “watch the tram car please” and other announcements”

“My biggest complaint is the incorrect description of the room. While I booked the room with the ocean view, I only got partial view of the ocean, as my balcony was facing their parking lot. Musty odor in the room. There is a coffee maker, but no coffee pods. Towels were very rough. Check in was also problematic. The location is great though. The bed was comfortable.”

“Room was decorated nicely, AC worked good in the room mattress was very com fortable and the bed linens were nice. On the negative side the TV could not be adjusted for volume. Only the one remote controlled the TV and it had no sound button on it. the volume was so low you might as well had it on mute. Also the shower had mostly hot, hot water and that could not be adjusted properly. You almost had to totally turn it of to get a tolerable level of heat and that slowed the stream down greatly....

“Very disappointed with our stay at Madison Crest Hotel. We booked a room for 6 people through Expedia with two beds and a sofa bed, but received only one bed and one sofa bed. The hotel blamed Expedia, and Expedia blamed the hotel. The hotel also falsely claimed that I upgraded the room, which never happened. On top of that, the toilet was not working and the room was very cold. Poor customer service and very frustrating experience.”
